Year 10 is a transition year where students are taught the skills and content in order to prepare them for Years 11 and 12. In Year 10, students may choose to specialise in some subjects.

Preparing for Senior
Before the end of Year 10, students will have agreed on a plan of study. When considering your Senior Education and Training (SET) Plan, students need to consider their abilities, interest and ambitions. If they do not know what they want to do (and that is OK), they need to consider how to keep their options open.

  • What are my career goals?

  • Which subjects am I good at?

  • Which subjects do I like?

  • Do I want to continue studying after Year 12?

  • Which subjects, if any, are pre-requisites?

In Years 11-12 students begin working towards the ‘Queensland Certificate of Education’. Subjects are informed by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA).

We offer both academic and vocational pathways.
